WINNIPEG — Plenty has changed for Davis Alexander between Grey Cup appearances.
“Obviously it’s going to be a little different,” said the Montreal Alouettes starting quarterback. “You guys didn’t know about me a couple years ago.”
As a third-string quarterback with the Alouettes in 2023, Alexander was part of the Cody-Fajardo led team who prevailed over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 110th Grey Cup.
This year, the 27-year-old Alexander, who took over as Montreal’s starter this off-season, is set to lead the Alouettes into the 112th Grey Cup in Winnipeg over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday.
And he heads into the championship game with quite the record intact.
Since making his first CFL start 15 months ago, Alexander has yet to lose a game.
