LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. — WWL Louisiana continues to push for answers as to why a young girl was expelled from Sixth Ward Middle School in Lafourche Parish.

They say the incident on the bus came after hours of harassment, as AI-generated nude photos of her were allegedly circulating around school.

Her lawyers tell us she did everything right and reported it to several school officials, yet they allegedly took no corrective action.

The girl has since been allowed back at school. But she is on probation, and back in September, Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office charged a boy involved with 10 counts of unlawful dissemination of images created by artificial intelligence. The sheriff's office says more arrests and charges are possible.
