The United States has extended assistance to help India investigate the deadly blast that rocked Delhi earlier this week, killing 12 people and leaving several injured. However, Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that Indian officials are conducting the inquiry with remarkable skill and efficiency.
Speaking to reporters in Canada on Wednesday after the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting, Rubio said Washington had offered its assistance to New Delhi and commended Indian authorities for their competent handling of the investigation.
“We’ve offered to help, but I think they’re very capable in these investigations," Rubio said, adding, “They don’t need our help, and they’re doing a good job."
