After 43 days, the U.S. federal government shutdown is finally coming to an end.
The House of Representatives passed a vote at 8:23 p.m. ET on November 12 to fund the U.S. Government through January 30, 2026. President Trump is expected to sign the bill at 9:45 p.m. ET, officially re-opening the government. With President Trump's approval, 670,000 furloughed workers—including more than 9,000 National Parks staff members and more than 11,000 Federal Aviation Administration employees—will be called back to work.
