Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will be sworn into office in 50 days.

In the coming days and weeks, Mamdani will be announcing a wide range of appointments — from deputy mayors to commissioners.

Incoming First Deputy Mayor Dean Fuleihan joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to discuss the ongoing transition period, and how the mayor-elect looks to implement his ambitious agenda.

He is a veteran of state and city government, who previously served as first deputy mayor and budget director under former Mayor Bill de Blasio. Fuleihan also held staff positions in the state Assembly for three decades, including 16 years as a policy adviser to former Speaker Sheldon Silver.
