COLUMBUS, Ohio —

An Ohio postpartum nurse was injured after she was allegedly strangled and pulled by her shirt at the Ohio State University Hospital.

It happened on Nov. 6, when officials said the nurse intervened in an altercation between a female patient and a male family member of the patient. The man was allegedly holding a baby in his arms. Advertisement

The man allegedly strangled the nurse when she stepped in and pulled her into the hallway by her shirt collar.

A spokesperson for Ohio State Police said charges were filed against Asiakare Minor for violation of a protection order, unlawful restraint and assault. An arrest warrant has been issued for Minor.
