AMES – During the second quarter of Iowa State women’s basketball's Nov. 12 game against Valparaiso, Cyclones guard Sydney Harris launched a 3-pointer from the wing.
Harris, a lethal shooter, was trying to ignite Iowa State and end the team’s shooting struggles.
The outcome Harris and the Cyclones were hoping for didn’t happen. The shot, which went off the mark, clanked off the rim for another miss. Luckily for the Cyclones, Audi Crooks corralled the rebound and quickly put it back up for an easy layup.
