SALT LAKE CITY — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Giving Machines are returning for the 2025 holiday season and will be available to more people than ever this time around.

The new locations for the Giving Machines include cities like Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Rome, Bangkok and even Tokyo – a total of 126 locations across 21 countries and 6 continents, 41 of those being new this year.

“Each Christmas season, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Light the World Giving Machine initiative offers a meaningful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by helping those in need,” the church said .

People can use the machines to purchase goods or services for people in need — a typical Giving Machine allows one to donate food, water, clothing or shelter,
