MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's basketball team did a lot right Wednesday night.
The Badgers shot 55% from the field, put up a dominating 48 points in the paint and (most importantly) beat Bowling Green, 90-78, for their third win of the young season.
Junior guard Kyrah Daniels led the Badgers with 21 points, shooting 5-8 from beyond the arc. The entire Wisconsin starting five scored in double figures.
The Badgers were a force in transition, scoring 27 points on the fast break and creating plenty more opportunities even if they didn't immediately get the ball through the hoop.
But for all the good, there's still plenty for head coach Robin Pingeton to work on.
The Badgers gave the Falcons far too many extra chances on Friday, and they were lucky that Bowling Green only shot 40%
