There will be a lot of excitement when the Pasadena boys basketball team opens its season in Peoria, Ill., in the Kevin Brown Tournament of Champions Memorial later this month.

One of the biggest reasons is because the Bulldogs boast one of the country’s top big men, 6-foot-11 senior center Josh Irving, who committed to Texas A&M in October.

Irving, a four-star prospect, made his commitment to Texas A&M official Wednesday during a signing ceremony at the school. Irving had Kentucky and Louisville among his final three choices before making his decision on Oct. 23.
