Disney+ has unveiled Japanese anime series Death Stranding Isolations (working title) from veteran game creator Hideo Kojima , based on the popular post-apocalyptic game series ‘Death Stranding.’

The upcoming anime series will be directed by Takayuki Sano ( Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods ) and produced by E&H Production ( Project Bullet/Bullet ).

The project will be created through 2D hand-drawn animation, the streamer announced today at the Disney APAC Showcase, held at the Disneyland Hotel in Hong Kong.

Besides the ‘Death Stranding’ video game, Kojima is known for creating ‘Metal Gear.’

Set in the same world as the video game, Death Stranding Isolations follows Sam Bridges as he attempts to save America, and those trying to deal with their isolation in their own way.
