A postal worker, who died after becoming trapped in a conveyor belt system at a local mail distribution center in Michigan, got engaged just 10 days before his death, according to loved ones.

The victim, identified as 36-year-old Nicholas John Acker of Trenton, Mich., was found stuck in a machine at the USPS Detroit Network Distribution Center in Allen Park on Saturday, Nov. 8, WDIV reported.
