MADISON (WKOW)– Registration is now open for a program by the UW-Madison Dane County Extension. The program is designed for vegetable farmers.

The class, titled " Becoming the Employer of Choice for Vegetable Farmers ," focuses on skills beyond farm production. It aims to help farmers become better bosses and leaders.

An extension educator says the most valuable thing about this program is that it's farmers who created it, and primarily farmers who teach it.

The program sessions are set to begin on November 13. They are held online.
