Dancing With the Stars Bobby Bones Returns Mirrorball Over Tom Bergeron

Tom Bergeron is walking back on his comment about Bobby Bones .

The former Dancing With the Stars host apologized for recently throwing shade at the season 27 winner while saying his victory was the most surprising moment during his tenure from 2005 to 2019.

"The thing that shocked me most was a win—Bobby Bones. That was when I went, 'Uhh,'" Tom told Parade in an interview published Nov. 11. "Bobby Bones was the first time I was like, 'Ouch.' No disrespect to Bobby. He would probably say the same thing."

He, in fact, would not. The radio personality (real name Bobby Estell ) clapped back at Tom's criticism, even saying he decided to return the Mirrorball trophy that he earned alongside pro partner Sharna Burgess .
