The Oilers dominated over forty minutes. The shots were 13-5 in the first, with no Philadelphia shots over the final eight. In fact, Edmonton had 14 in a row well into the second period, until the Flyers finally registered one at 11:14 of the second frame. But part way through the third, despite the disparity of play, this one was nonetheless knotted at one. Article content Article content
And there it remained, through a critical disallowed Flyers goal in the dying moments of the third, into Overtime where the Oilers earned the second point on the Jack Roslovic winner.
