A ballerina found murdered on the night of a show, a snappy detective and a slew of suspects are behind Rutland High School Encore Theatre’s latest production, “Murder At The Ballet” by Jeffrey Goffin.
At a typical rehearsal you’ll see things like an open laptop on a table by the stage; students huddled together on the edge of the stage with binders, talking quietly; a group of a dozen or so kids standing in a circle in the middle of the room running stretches and theater exercises, not so quietly; tables strewn with notebooks and fliers and markers — and, always, an abandoned box of pizza.
