BOZEMAN — The best volleyball rivalry in the state of Montana will be renewed on Thursday night, with a state championship berth on the line.
Gallatin, the defending state champs, and Bozeman, the runner-up from last season, each won twice on Wednesday, on the first day of the Class AA state tournament, to advance to the undefeated semifinal in what will be a rematch of the 2024 championship match.
Gallatin and Bozeman were also part of a clean sweep by the Eastern AA in the first round, improving the league's record to 20-0 against Western AA teams on the first day of the state tournament dating back to 2020.
