Bhubaneswar : The Orissa High Court has cancelled the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Main Written Examination held on July 13, 2025, due to serious concerns over the exam’s conduct by the engaged agency.

To ensure fairness and transparency, a fresh Main Examination will be conducted on December 7, 2025, according to a notification issued by the Orissa High Court. And 7,113 candidates who qualified the Preliminary Examination held on May 4, 2025, will appear for the Main Written Exam.

The new examination will be conducted in three sittings on December 7. The English paper will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by General Awareness and Test of Reasoning from 12 PM to 1 PM. The mathematics paper is scheduled from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM.
