LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies made great strides in matching a physical Weber State team on the way to an 83-73 home win to stay undefeated.
Utah State (3-0) hosted Weber State (1-2) in a Beehive battle at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Wednesday, November 12.
“ I thought we got physically manhandled. I thought we played very entitled, and we had talked about this for three days ,” Calhoun said after his team was outrebounded for the first time this season.
Karson Templin led for the Aggies in double figures with 16 points while adding five rebounds.
Butler transfer Kolby King came off the bench to score 15 points and grab a team-high eight boards. Garry Clark scored 13 points off the bench.
Junior guard Mason Falslev finished with 10 points, four rebounds, and one assist.
