The Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and ACG Sports Pvt Ltd on Wednesday announced the launch of India’s first year-round residential Basketball High Performance Centre (HPC) in Bengaluru, marking a major step towards the debut of the India Basketball League (IBL) in 2026.
Located at Lakshyan Academy, the HPC is designed as a world-class facility dedicated to elite player development and serves as the cornerstone of the IBL’s long-term vision to elevate Indian basketball to global standards.
The centre features three FIBA-standard courts, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a 25-metre swimming pool, and an integrated sports health department equipped with advanced biomechanics, nutrition, physiotherapy, and mental conditioning units.
