Dehradun : The Uttarakhand government has approved a new plan called the Devbhoomi Family Scheme. Under this scheme, every family living in the state will get a unique identification number. This ID will help the government know which families are getting benefits and make sure the help goes to the right people.
The decision was made during a cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The scheme will create a full database of families in Uttarakhand. All public welfare schemes will be linked to these family IDs. This means families will get the correct benefits directly, without confusion or delay.
