PATHANAMTHITTA: The Pathanamthitta District Sessions Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of S Jayashree, former devaswom secretary in the Sabarimala gold theft case. Jayashree is the fourth accused in the Dwarapalaka case. The special investigation team found that she corrected the minutes of the devasom board. Jayashree wrote in the minutes that the copper plates should be given to Unnikrishnan Potty.

The FIR said Jayashree registered as copper plated despite knowing that the dwarapalaka idols were gold-plated. Jayashree approached the court initially citing health issues. Jayashree, a native of Thiruvalla, presently lives in Kakkanad.
