Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal (ICT-BD) on Thursday stated that the verdict against deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a case concerning crimes against humanity will be delivered on November 17.

“The three-judge tribunal set Nov 17 for delivering the verdict," a journalist present at the heavily guarded special court in Dhaka told news agency PTI .

Hasina, along with her former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and ex-police chief Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, were charged in the case. The former premier and Kamal were tried in absentia, after being declared fugitives by the court.
