The United States has imposed sanctions on 32 individuals and entities across eight countries, including India, for providing materials and technology to Iran’s ballistic missile and drone programmes. Among those targeted is the Indian company Farmlane Private Limited. According to a statement by the US Department of the Treasury, Marco Klinge, a UAE-based director of Farmlane, is a key figure listed in the sanctions document.

The sanctions, announced on Wednesday, are part of ongoing efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear program, which Washington claims is aimed at developing weapons. Tehran maintains that its nuclear activities are for civilian purposes. In June, the US and Israel conducted airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
