Consultants often get a bad reputation, yet there are more of them today than ever before. Between 2005 and 2025, the number of management consulting firms worldwide rose from 1.4 million to 3.6 million. The industry is now worth over USD 1 trillion and is projected to grow at an 8 percent CAGR through 2028.
