Kendrick Joshua has established himself as one of the top high school track and field athletes in the nation in the past few seasons competing for Richmond Hill — and he set his future in motion on Wednesday, Nov. 12, as he signed to continue his athletic career at the University of Georgia in a ceremony on campus.

Joshua said he will run the 400-meter hurdles and be part of the 4x400 relay team at UGA. But he still has another season left this spring with the Wildcats to add to an overflowing trophy case.

Last spring, Joshua won the Class 6A state title in the 300 hurdles and went on to win gold at the Adidas Meet of Champions in Atlanta the following week when he ran a personal best of 35.94, the second fastest time in the nation last year. Joshua also finished third in the Class 6A s
