High pressure will anchor itself over the southeast U.S. Thursday through at least Sunday bringing plenty of sunshine and climbing temps to eastern NC.
After mid-40s early Thursday temps will lift to the mid 60s by early afternoon with under continued sunny skies. Winds will stay gusty from the northwest at 15-25 mph. Friday brings more of the same with early mid 30s lifting to the low 60s under blue skies with lighter winds
Winds will turn more southerly over the weekend with temps lifting accordingly. Saturday’s highs will peak around 70° with mid 70s likely Sunday afternoon. Both days will bring plenty of sunshine. Great weather for all outdoor activities from football to raking.
