Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has informed Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) that he won’t be taking part in the next Ranji Trophy game which will be played against Pondicherry.
It is learnt that Yadav wants to prepare for white ball cricket keeping T20 World Cup 2026 in mind and he has made himself available for white ball cricket lined up ahead in the season.
The Indian Express understands that MCA has also agreed to Shivam Dube ’s request to not take part in the next Ranji Trophy game and instead saying he should prepare for the upcoming South Africa T20I’s series.
