From the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and from the Punjab government to neighbouring state administrations, elaborate programs have been lined up to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji – revered as Hind ki Chadar. The martyrdom day falls on November 25, but the commemorative events have already been underway across several states since mid-October.
