SRINAGAR, Nov 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have approached Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice against Qazigund-based Dr. Muzaffar, who is wanted in connection with the interstate ‘white-collar’ terror module busted earlier this week, officials said on Thursday.

Dr. Muzaffar is the brother of Dr. Adeel, one of the eight people — including three doctors — arrested in the case linked to the Red Fort car blast that killed 13 people on Monday. Of those arrested, seven hail from Kashmir. His name surfaced during the interrogation of the accused, officials said.

Investigators revealed that Dr. Muzaffar was part of a doctors’ delegation that visited Turkiye in 2021 along with Muzammil Ganaie and Umar Nabi, the man who drove the explosives-laden car that detonated near the Red Fort.
