The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially scheduled the Class 12 Artificial Intelligence (AI) exam for February 27, 2026. As one of the board’s most future-oriented subjects, Artificial Intelligence blends technical learning with creative problem-solving and critical thinking.

The exam will carry a total of 100 marks, split equally between theory (50 marks) and practical/project work (50 marks). The paper tests not just textbook knowledge, but the student’s ability to apply AI principles to real-world challenges, from designing ethical algorithms to interpreting data narratives.
