The government shutdown has finally ended. However, warnings have been issued about possible disruptions on Thanksgiving , as airlines scramble to get their systems back to normal and have full crews available.

During the shutdown, we saw a little bit of everything: the good, the bad and the ugly. Near the end, the ugly took place, with Southwest Airlines and American Airlines combining for over 3,100 delays in a single day .

On the contrary, there was a lot of good. Among the good was United Airlines. The carrier faced moderate disruptions throughout the shutdown and had the perfect messaging for employees.
