NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Despite a career night from rookie Derik Queen, the Pelicans lost their third straight to Portland 125-117 in what was the first game in a five-game homestand.
Queen was not in the starting five on Wednesday night (Nov. 12), but he made the most of extended minutes. He finished his night with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists while shooting 12-for-18 from the floor in 38 minutes.
The Pelicans led 59-57 at halftime, but the Trail Blazers outscored New Orleans 38-26 in the third quarter.
Shaedon Sharpe scored a season-high 35 points, Deni Avdija added 32, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 125-117 on Wednesday night.
