Haryana : Haryana’s Al-Falah University, which came into the spotlight after its links to the Red Fort blast accused and a terror module involving the Jaish-e-Mohammed, has received a show-cause notice from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body under the Union Education Ministry, for displaying a false accreditation claim on its website. The university's website was taken down.
Dr Umar Nabi, who is accused of carrying out the Red Fort blast, killing 13 people, was employed at the institution. Apart from Dr Umar, two of his accomplices, Dr Muzammil Shakeel and Dr Shaheen Shahid, part of a "white collar" terror network, also worked at the university.
