Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah lauded Gujarat’s Dudhsagar Dairy for its remarkable contribution to the country’s dairy revolution, calling it a model of cooperative success and rural empowerment. Speaking virtually at the inauguration of the Shri Motibhai R. Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School (MRCSSS) and Sagar Organic Plant in Gujarat, Shah said Dudhsagar Dairy’s growth exemplifies the power of cooperative spirit and farmer participation.

Tracing its journey, Shah recalled that Dudhsagar Dairy collected just 3,300 litres of milk daily in 1960. Today, that figure has risen to an impressive 35 lakh litres per day.
