Back in my day, Tumblr was the cool platform. Newish Instagram was still finding its audience. Twitter was everybody’s diary. And Pinterest, well, Pinterest was where girls went to dream about wedding dresses and prom hairstyles. But that was about it—or at least, that was the impression most of us had.
Nowadays, Pinterest might be considered a millennial relic. It’s still where DIY brides go for ideas and busy moms go for weeknight slow cooker meals. “I’m surprised Pinterest is still around,” a friend said to me recently.
