The New England Patriots are banged up at running back, but they received some good news ahead of their Week 11 clash with the New York Jets.
Terrell Jennings, who was listed as questionable entering the game, is expected to be ready to play on Thursday Night Football. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was first to report the update.
Jennings, 24, got hurt in the first quarter of last Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had to leave the game after just four carries. He was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the contest due to a knee injury, and was a limited practice participant throughout the week.
Him being available for the game against the visiting Jets is good news for a Patriots running back group already missing Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) and Antonio Gibson (knee/IR).
