PHOENIX — A pedestrian was seriously hurt after a crash in north Phoenix on Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the vehicle-pedestrian crash occurred at 5:15 a.m. along the 35th Avenue on-ramp of Loop 101.

The pedestrian was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The westbound on-ramp is closed.
