FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —

For the first time, the Patriots will wear their new alternate “Nor’easter” uniforms during Thursday night’s game against the Jets, which can be seen on WMUR-TV .

The uniforms were designed as part of the NFL’s new “Rivalries” program.

“(The uniforms were) created with the power and unpredictability of a New England storm in mind, the Nor'easter uniform blends the region's natural elements, rich maritime history, and football tradition into a bold, future-forward,” the team’s official website wrote .

The uniform’s base color is “Storm Blue” to reflect the storms that define our region.
