A home in Surrey became the target of gunfire Wednesday evening for the second time in less than a week.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it responded to reports of shots fired at the house on 32 Avenue near 170 Street around 7:30 p.m.

“This is the second time this address has been targeted, and the incident is extortion related,” police explained.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, the SPS was called to the same home around 8:30 a.m. and confirmed damage to the exterior by gunshots.
