Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar is asking for prayers after he had a setback as he waits for a liver transplant.

Kosar provided an update on his health Wednesday on X , announcing that he was set to receive a liver transplant this past weekend, but he is dealing with an infection and bleeding.

He underwent multiple “aggressive” procedures earlier this week and is asking for prayers, as well as for purchases on his website, shopkosar.com .

“I could really use your love, support and actual prayers today,” Bernie Kosar said. “So as bad as I’m feeling and as much help and support as I could use from you today, please support us and all the other people that are so worse off than me.”
