Gabby Ravosa ’28 said this has been a huge season of growth for the Wilbraham & Monson Academy girls volleyball program.
After their performance in the team’s first playoff game in nearly a decade, the Titans are still growing… and winning.
In its first postseason match since 2016, WMA shook a hard-working Marianapolis Prep team to win its New England Prep School Athletic Council Class C quarterfinal 3-1 in an electric Greenhalgh Gymnasium on Wednesday.
“Our whole goal was to keep doing what we’ve been doing,” Gabby said. “It’s been a huge season of growth in the program so there wasn’t a ton to change - just stay calm, play our own version of volleyball and be ourselves.”
The victory against No. 8 Marianapolis (11-9) was the first playoff victory since 2010.
