The West Virginia High School Soccer Coaches Association released its all-state boys and girls soccer teams, and several local players have been honored for Class AAAA.
On the boys side, Musselman's Dominic DeMasi and Jefferson's Liam Blood were named first-team all-state selections at forward and goalkeeper, respectively. Several players were named second-team picks, including Washington's Chandler Cox (midfielder), Carter Quinn (midfielder) and Landan Stull (forward); Martinsburg's Trevor Duffy (defender), Jordan Nounee (midfielder) and Ben Williams (forward); the Applemen's Dawson Roblee (goalkeeper) and R.J. Sturba (defender) and the Cougars' Isaiah Newman (defender).
