Honestly, I am happy to see a lot of the Hotties of My Youth still really making the rounds, working in interesting (and even not interesting) projects, and Wearing Stuff Publicly. I also recently read an interview with her where she basically said, “oh my god, I work out A LOT for this show and I eat an insane amount of protein right now,” and I appreciate that level of honesty. This top look is VERY cute. I also think it could work with tights. (I love Tights Season.) (Ali and I are approximately the same age and I am glad Gen X hasn’t abandoned the mini skirt yet. Legs out!)

This doesn’t feel quite as successful. Generally, I think these dresses with the visible underpinning look better if they’re looser — stylistically — because otherwise it just feels like the outer layer has ridden
