Squeeze Revisit Songs They Wrote as Teenagers for New Album 'Trixies'

Squeeze dig deep into their songwriting archives for their upcoming album Trixies , a collection of tracks the band wrote in their teenage years well before releasing their 1978 debut album.

For Trixies , Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford journeyed back to their notebooks from when their songwriting partnership first began as teenagers in the mid-1970s, when they penned a series of vignette tracks centered around a fictional nightclub called Trixies.

“The songs that we wrote then astound me. I’m proud of them now, and I’m particularly proud that it was young us that did that.
