Guwahati, Nov 13: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday reaffirmed the state government’s zero-tolerance policy towards Pakistan sympathisers, announcing that security agencies are monitoring around 100 social media accounts for anti-national content.

Addressing reporters in Guwahati, Sarma said, “We have already arrested 17 persons across the state for their social media posts lauding the blast in the national capital. The government will not tolerate any pro-Pakistan activity carried out from Indian soil, and all such cases will be dealt with the utmost strictness.”
