Gary J. Silver, 72, of South Euclid, passed away Oct. 28, 2025.

Born Nov. 8, 1952, in Cleveland, to Goldie and Alexander Silver, both now of blessed memory, Gary graduated from Beachwood High School in 1970. He studied at Cleveland State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science, and Case Western Reserve University, receiving a master’s degree in political science. He worked as a content editor for Predicasts in Cleveland. He was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians and loved cars.

Gary is survived by his son, Ryan Silver of Cleveland; his siblings, Marcy Silver of Columbus and Jeff (Colleen) Silver; and his ex-wife, Cathy Stylar Silver. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Silver (formerly of Columbus).
