The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has suspended the membership of Al-Falah University, Faridabad, citing concerns over the institution’s lack of “good standing,” and has directed the university to immediately remove the AIU name and logo from all platforms.
The decision comes after two of its practising doctors are suspected of being involved in the November 10 blast incident in New Delhi.
In an official communication sent to the University, the AIU noted that membership remains valid only as long as a university continues to meet the standards outlined in the organisation’s bye-laws.
