CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect wanted for possession of fentanyl, failure to stop for blue lights, and use of a vehicle without permission.

The sheriff's office originally took part in "an active manhunt" in the Dudley Road area for the suspect, Kurt Jared Wilson, though the search in that area was called off Thursday night.

Two people have been taken into custody for helping him avoid arrest.

Wilson is believed to be dressed entirely in camouflage. Anyone with information on his location can call the Chesterfield County E-911 at 843-623-6838 or dial 911 if in an emergency.
