Thanksgiving is two weeks away. Are you ready, pilgrims?
Cooks and hosts planning a big meal need to start planning for what’s considered the biggest food holiday of the year.
But as much as you plan, sometimes things get missed or ingredients don't make it onto the grocery list. Or you run out of ingredients like milk, cream and butter for the mashed potatoes or forgot to add crispy fried onion topping for the green bean casserole to your grocery list. And sometimes extra guests show up that you didn't plan on, and you need to add another side dish.
If you need an ingredient or two, or even to shop for putting together the entire meal at the last minute, many grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Most will have limited hours. And many will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day
